Karmabu Ringera founded International Peace Initiatives in 2002 out of her desire to help women with AIDS send their children to school. The Kithoka Amani (Kach) Community Home project began in 2006 with a vision of a community which nurtured and cared for children orphaned by AIDS. The Kach video documents the work of Alpine Initiative, a group of volunteers that managed to raise $104, 000 to travel to Kenya to assist local experts to build a local community centre and home for orphaned children. This a video of their first project.
