Each year in early May, the Australian Treasurer delivers the Federal Budget and many people across Australia listen intently. The Budget tells us how the government intends to spend its revenue in the coming year, whether it can afford to give us tax cuts, and whether it expects to spend more (deficit) or less (surplus) than it receives.
The holidays are over and you’ve had a great time. You have come back with some amazing trinkets and even more amazing memories, but then the dreaded credit card statement arrives. The happy holiday memories suddenly disappear, as you wonder - 'how am I going to pay this off?!' Unfortunately there is no magic way to wipe out debts - it just takes discipline, (and some good advice).
